AC not cooling? you can do it right at home

Lack of service leads to less cooling.

 First of all, you should keep in mind that you get your AC serviced every season.  If for some reason you have not been able to get the service done, then you can easily do it at home.  The easiest way to service a Window AC is to clean its air filters.  By doing this you will also get relief and the airflow of the AC will also increase significantly.  You can also do the servicing of Split AC in the same way.  After cleaning the air filter of the Indoor Unit, you also have to clean the Outdoor Unit, which you can also wash with water.

Cleaning of cooling condenser-

 Whenever the AC reduces cooling, the main reason behind this is also the dirty cooling condenser.  Cooling condenser is also called cooling coil in common language.  This is the cooling coil in the Indoor Unit of Split AC while it is the cooling coil at the front of the Window AC.  You can also easily clean the cooling coil with a tooth brush.  But trying hard while cleaning it should be avoided.

Should not be kept outdoor in the sun-

 It is generally seen in Split AC that its outdoor is kept in the sun.  Many times its cooling starts decreasing due to being kept outdoor in the sun.  This problem is mainly seen in old ACs.  Because after some time the compressor of AC becomes weak.  So if you are also finding the cooling of Split AC less, then you can take some measures so that direct sunlight does not fall on the outdoor unit.
